February 16, 2017 The SUAI Rector Yulia A. Antokhina, the Director General of The Young Professionals (World Skills International Russia) Robert N. Urazov and the Director of The North-West Center for Strategic Research Marina Lipetskaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding for SUAI to become involved in the Future Skills International Workgroup.
The World Skills International (WSI) is showcasing the value of skills and raising the recognition of skilled professionals worldwide by organizing competitions for young professionals.
The Future Skills is a Russian initiative to compete for competences and professions of the future.
SUAI is a national leader in the IoT (Internet-of-Things), industrial networking and industrial automation (Industrial Internet), cloud technologies, machine learning, and information security, which made it possible for the University to start training Masters in IoT and to become a ground for the Future Skills programs.
The Future Skills representatives were in the panel of the IoT Makerton held by SUAI.
