Competence Center for Wireless Technologies opened in SUAI

The opening of the Competence Center for Wireless Technologies took place at the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. There was also held a round table with representatives of partner companies of the University. The interaction of science, education and business structures, as well as the use of the potential of universities for the development of high-tech industries were discussed during the round table.

The meeting gave an opportunity to each representative of the partner companies to speak about the tasks that exist now, whether it is personnel training or the need for developments. Within the dialogue, the parties tried to find out how the university can help and what tasks can be solved on the basis of SUAI.

According to Andrey Tyurlikov, scientific coordinator of the Competence Center for Wireless Technologies, Head of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies and Communication Systems, the main task of the new Center will be the use of SUAI research in the organization of data transmission in Internet of Things systems. Another task of the Center is to provide project-oriented training in the field of infocommunication technologies and communication systems.
