The conference was established as a tribute to the memory of Dmitry Aleksandrovich Zavalishin (1900-1968) � a Russian scientist, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, professor, doctor of technical sciences, honored worker of science and technology of the RSFSR, founder of the school of valve energy converters based on electric machines and valve converters energy. The first conference was organized by the Institute of Innovative Technologies in Electromechanics and Robotics of the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation in 2006 and is timed to the 60th anniversary of the Institute. Today the conference has become international and be held for the thirteenth time in St. Petersburg.

The purpose of the conference is the exchange of information and progressive results of scientific research work of scientific and pedagogical workers, young scientists, graduate students, applicants and students in the field of: automatic control systems, electromechanics, electric power engineering and electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, automation, technical physics and management in the electric power industry.

In this year, the conference is organized together with XIII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Vibration-2019. The vibration technology, mechatronics and controlled machines" in Southwest State University in Kursk, Russia.


The conference is organized by St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI, St. Petersburg, Russia) and St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPIIRAS, St. Petersburg, Russia) with cooperation of Southwest State University (SWSU, Kursk, Russia).

The conference is held with the financial support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, project No. 19-08-20021.

Lecture Title: Biologically Inspired Bipedal Locomotion From Control Concept to Human-Like Biped

Abstract: In the field of humanoid robotics, a rapidly increasing number of biologically based constructions and algorithms can be observed to go operational. However, usually they are discussed as an individual and isolated component. The importance of the component collaboration is therefore widely missed. Hence, this paper presents the main biological reasonings throughout the whole development process of the Compliant Robotic Leg Carl as a whole. It is shown how the design decisions of the individual components are related to each other and why this is mandatory in order to achieve a high performance result.

Lecture Title: Artificial intelligence based framework for robotic search and rescue operations conducted jointly by international teams

Abstract: Many countries suffer from various natural disasters, including heavy rains, that are associated with further flood and landslide disasters. Based on our experiences of different disasters response we develop a joint international operation framework for a disaster site management with distributed heterogeneous UAV/UGV/UUV/USV robotic teams. The artificial intelligence based information collection system, which is targeting to become a worldwide standard, contains interaction protocols, thematic mapping approaches and map fusion processes. The project provides a new working framework and control strategies for heterogeneous robotic teams cooperative behaviour in sensing, monitoring and mapping of flood and landslide disaster areas.

Lecture Title: Control of hyperlinked cyber-physical systems

Abstract: Main factors of the formation of a hyper-linked cyber-physical systems and the actual methods control problems in are difficult problems. It is concluded that the entry into this new technology in the development of information society-the formation of a hyper-connected world, it is necessary to widely introduce and develop a theory of optimal control that can make useful cyber-physical systems in real world. Model of hyper-linked cyber-physical systems contains object smart devices, converter and mathematical bases of functioning.

Papers submitted to ER(ZR)-2019 must not be under review by any other conference or publication during the review cycle, and must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere. Authors are invited to submit a full paper with size of 10-12 pages formatted in the Springer style (ftp://ftp.springernature.com/cs-proceeding/llncs/word/splnproc1703.zip) using the on-line submission system (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=erzr2019). The paper format for the review has to be the PDF file with all required fonts included. Upon notification of acceptance, speakers will receive further information on submitting their camera-ready and electronic sources.



The accepted papers will be published in several volumes of ER(ZR)-2019 proceedings in Russian and English after the conference. The volume in English proceedings will be published in the Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies book series of Springer. The books of this series are submitted to ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, SCOPUS and Springerlink.

The conference fee is 250 USD paid after notification of paper accept. It includes visa support, one copy of the conference materials, refreshments/coffee breaks, admissions, a museum excursion, and organizing costs. In order to lower the fee as much as possible, meals during the conference, the accommodation, and the conference trip are not included. Bank account details and payment instructions will be sent to participants after papers approval.

At least one of the authors has to register and pay the registration fee by March 01, 2019 for their paper to be included in the conference proceedings. Only one paper of up to 6 pages is included in the regular registration fee. An author with more than one paper pays the additional paper rates unless a co-author has also registered and paid the full registration fee. The payment may be refunded up until April 01, at the cost of 50 USD. No refund is possible after this date. In the case of uncertainty, feel free to contact the organizing committee for clarification.



The conference will be organized at the campus of the Southwest State University (SWSU, Russia, Kursk, 94, 50 years of October St.).
